How to eat well? What will the food of tomorrow be? What are the future innovations? In conjunction with the GastroLab, we offer visitors a programme of varied activities: guided tours, culinary workshops, demonstrations, encounters and debates, films and documentaries...
The activities proposed by the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie of Lyon are open to everyone, children and adults, individuals or groups, with just one goal: to enjoy a unique experience! The notion of discovery is at the heart of the programmes of the Cité de la Gastronomie, with a permanent exhibition, the MIAM! MIAM! GastroPlayRoom and even demonstrations by international chefs. A paradise which will captivate everyone’s mind!
The Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie of Lyon likewise wishes to include a co-working space to encourage exchange and entrepreneurship. GastroLab brings together different players and start-ups which, on a daily basis, share their know-how and their innovations with the public. A true incubator of innovative projects, on a local, regional or even international scale.
A place for exchange, the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie of Lyon is destined to become a space open to other projects which blend gastronomy with various other subjects, such as the Gastro Sounds encounters (music & gastronomic experiences), The Big Draw (drawing & gastronomy), the Gastro Fest (an event devoted to promoting sustainable gastronomy) and the Food Sessions calls for proposals.
Richness and multidisciplinarity are the keywords of our programmes, which likewise go beyond the walls of the Grand Hôtel-Dieu through Cité Off.
